Bob Schmetterer

Bob Schmetterer

As a chief executive officer, communications visionary, motivational leader and author, Bob Schmetterer has long been recognized as one of advertising’s (and business’s) leading creative leaders and innovators. Advertising Age called him “a creative visionary.” Business Week profiled him as a “mover and shaker” for bringing technology and marketing together, and Campaign magazine said, “No one should underestimate Schmetterer’s determination” to change the way we think about creative thinking.

Bob brings a unique view of how to apply creative thinking to business (and life) and believes people “have the power to instill the magic of creativity into their lives and businesses.” He also believes that creative-thinking people and companies will be the leaders of our times—an idea explored in his best-selling book Leap: A Revolution in Creative Business Strategy.

Bob is a frequent speaker at conferences, including the American Association of Advertising Agencies, the Cannes International Advertising Festival, and Madison and Vine. Bob has also been key speaker for global companies, including Intel, Volvo, Kraft, Yahoo!, Danone, Reckitt Benkhiser and MCI, and for the International Advertising Association and the Association of National Advertisers.
